Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Chaplin is a four year old Chocolate Lab mix who is good with cats. Chaplin may look like a Lab, but he has many of the personality traits of a German Shepherd, including loyalty and devotion. Chaplin came to our attention when one of the shelter employees began coming in to work on his days off in order to spend time working with Chaplin to overcome his fear of the noisy, overcrowded shelter. We knew that there must have been something special about Chaplin to inspire such devotion in a member of the shelter staff. Since Chaplin takes a while to adjust to change, he would be best in a quiet, adult home where he is the only dog. Chaplin lives in a foster home with cats, and he just calmly lays on his bed as the cats walk in front of him and as they sleep on a perch above his head.
