Brooks is a year old 13 lb male Maltipoo.  Brooks was purchased from a pet shop and then his owners left him alone in the backyard all day and night. Not only was poor he lonely, he was taunted by neighbors. One of our volunteers was at the shelter when Brooks was dropped off by his neglectful owners, and he just could not leave Brooks behind.  He is great with the people and dogs in his foster home, but he is wary of strangers. Brooks needs a loving and patient forever home where he is exposed to the world and lots of people and new experiences.
