Abby is a 12 month old female dog who protected her puppies even when she had no strength left.  Abby gave birth to five puppies in front of a restaurant.  Instead of helping the poor dog family, the restaurant owner took a hose and washed the newborn pups away to the street with strong water.    Too weak to fight back, Abby still tried to protect her babies with her body.  At this very moment, a young girl went by and was shocked to witness the scene.  Seeing the newborn puppies all wet, with closed eyes, struggling on the street, she decided to pick them up and take them home.  To her surprise, Abby followed her and the five puppies all the way home barking, crying and finally ended up fainting in front of the young girl’s house.  Not knowing what to do, she rushed the mother dog and her five puppies to the animal hospital. The pups have all been adopted, and Abby is in perfect health and ready to join her forever family.  Abby has forgotten her sad experience, and she bonds quickly to her person and she gets along with all dogs. To show her affection, Abby likes to give you the paw. She is housetrained and crate trained.
